    Forced Momentum focuses our efforts on diversifying the software industry by providing no-cost Career Mentoring through a guided career Jump-Start journey.

     

    We are a 501c(3) non-profit organization and are 100% volunteer-driven. Our programs come at no cost to the students. Force Momentum was founded to specifically uplift the minority community with economic availability and professional advancement.

  • Industry Challenges

    The software industry as a whole has a race and gender distribution challenge. Simply put, we have to acknowledge the issue and get down to do the hard work of solving the problem. We're here to do our part.

    Force Momentum uses a structured 6-week cohort-based program to support guided learning designed for career switchers who want to start a Salesforce Developer Career.

     

    How do we do it? Glad you asked!

    • Project-Based real-world Salesforce Development experience
    • 1x1 Career Coaching (Resume, LinkedIn, Interviewing, and more)
    • 1X1 Technical Coaching (Coding Tests, Portfolio, and more)
     
    We help you with guided learning, 2x1 mentoring (2 Mentors for each Student), and support you throughout the job search process all the way to the offer and beyond.

    What's the Commitment? Students are expected to spend 10-15 hours per week dedicated to learning and completing the program milestones.

    Selection

    The Forced Momentum team does an evaluation on all the applicants to build a cohort team. Cohorts start and end together so we select based on who is going to balance and work well together.

    Through our unique guided training process and 2x1 career coaching model, you will learn Salesforce Development as well as all the polish needed to get your first role in the Salesforce eco-system.
